I love making pictures exploring the relationship between seeing, perception, memory, feelings, and thoughts. Manual photographic techniques such as cross-processing film and shooting with out of date film naturally evolved into creating painterly, photomontages of endless imaginary worlds conjured from everyday reality. In addition to being a freelance photographer for various publications, I was a photo editor at The New York Times for ten years and a gallery photo editor at the Daily News in New York.
