Artist's Description
Sacred cows are free to roam wherever they want, on the beach at Bentota, 60 km south of Colombo, Sri Lanka. The local folks said they always come to the beach around 5 p.m. How do the cows know what time it is? Is it a sun thing? I shot this with a vintage 4x5 SLR, a Super D with a Polaroid back for single insert film.
